Our Teacher

Our teacher, Barbara Adams, has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and over 25 years of hands on experience. She regularly attends professional development workshops, including the Ooey Gooey, Inc. workshops which are designed to provide training that will bring high-energy, exciting and developmentally appropriate ideas for the classroom. She has a wonderful rapport with the children and strives to maintain a flexible curriculum that meets the needs of each dynamic class and our children. Mrs. Adams is highly supportive of our family-centered, cooperative program. Her level of dedication to the children and our school is extraordinary.

Mrs. Adams schedules home visits for our new families prior to the start of school. She meets the children, reads them a story and makes them feel welcome before they even attend school. Parent-teacher conferences are scheduled during the school year. She is readily available to talk with parents throughout the year.
